Mutual Public Welfare: Let Love Warm Every Corner

Brand charity 2025-01-01

Looking back at Shanghai on December 11, 2024, the winter sky was covered with a touch of light gray, and the fine raindrops were like woven gauze, bringing a touch of coolness to the city. Despite the chilly weather, the public welfare team of Shanghai Hubang Intelligent Rehabilitation Equipment Co., Ltd. (hereinafter referred to as "Hubang") was filled with warmth and care, entering a unique family in Xuhui District. This family was composed of two disabled members, Mr. Yan and his wife, who lived in this city with strength and courage.

Since its establishment, the HuBang Public Welfare Team has been committed to providing assistance to those in need within its capabilities. In the previous public welfare activity registration notices, Mr. Yan actively responded and registered to participate in the public welfare activities of HuBang. It is this trust and expectation that led to this extraordinary visit. We hope that through this activity, more people can feel the warmth of the society, and more people in need of help can know that the public welfare team has always been taking action, and everyone can sign up at any time to participate in the event and share love and hope.

Mr. Yan, as a generation born in the 1950s, experienced a passionate era. However, fate was not lenient towards him. In that era, a rampant polio (commonly known as poliomyelitis) mercilessly took away his and his wife's health, leaving them permanently disabled. Mr. Yan, who has a third degree disability, and his wife, who has a second degree severe disability, face many inconveniences in their daily lives. But even so, they still live strong, interpreting the dignity and value of life in their own way. In recent years, Mr. and Mrs. Yan's daily life and travel have almost entirely relied on HuBang's electric scooters. This small and practical commuting car has not only become their reliable assistant in daily life, but also an important tool for them to step out of their homes and experience the world. From daily travel to long-distance travel, this commuter car has been by their side, witnessing countless beautiful moments. Mr. and Mrs. Yan said that they have been using this commuting car for 8 years and the quality is very good, which has brought them great convenience.

As the weather in Shanghai turned cold in December, the Mutunion public welfare team decided to make a simple lunch for Mr. and Mrs. Yan while visiting them, and expressed their love and respect with a hot Wonton. So the team drove to the nearby food market and purchased food materials for Wonton, rice, edible oil, fruit and other daily necessities. When the HuBang public welfare team arrived at Mr. Yan and his wife's house with supplies, Mr. Yan warmly welcomed them at the door. After exchanging greetings, they handed the materials to Mr. Yan and began to prepare Wonton. Mr. Yan said that the seasoning at home is complete, and he usually cooks it himself. So we worked together to prepare ingredients, mix stuffing and make Wonton.

During the process of making Wonton, Mr. and Mrs. Yan chatted well with the Mutunion public welfare team. Mr. Yan shared his and his wife's experience of using the HuBang electric scooter for travel, which made people envious. Since 1999, disabled cars have been included in the government's management scope and have become a means of transportation for people with disabilities. This not only greatly facilitates the travel of people with disabilities, but also allows them to find joy in life after retirement. Mr. Yan said that he often travels with like-minded disabled friends, initially in the surrounding Jiangsu, Zhejiang, and Shanghai areas, and gradually expanded the scope. Some friends even drove their cars all the way west, playing while driving, all the way to Xinjiang. Wherever they go, they stop to rest for a few days and visit local attractions. Electric scooters have played a huge role at this time, allowing them to easily visit various attractions.

Mr. Yan also mentioned that since buying an electric scooter from HuBang, their quality of life has made a qualitative leap. Usually, their daughters and sons in law also take them out to play, so folding the scooter and putting it in the trunk of the car is very convenient. They have also flown to South Korea and Japan with their scooters and taken cruises. Mr. Yan stated that Hu Bang's electric scooters can be checked in when flying, and the battery can be removed and carried with you. And the couple can ride together in a commuter car, which is very suitable for them. Mr. Yan's wife also said that when they travel and drive, they always attract envy and admiration from others.

This visit not only allowed Mr. and Mrs. Yan to feel the warmth and care of society, but also strengthened the determination of the Mutual Public Welfare Team to continue moving forward. They are well aware that there are still many people like Mr. Yan and his wife who need help in this society. They are willing to use their actions to convey love and hope, so that more people can feel the warmth and care of society. In the future, the HuBang Public Welfare Team will continue to uphold the principle of "warming every corner in need of care with love" and carry out more diverse forms of public welfare activities. We hope that through our efforts, we can raise more people's attention and care for vulnerable groups, and jointly create a more harmonious and beautiful society. At the same time, we also hope that more people can join the ranks of public welfare and use their actions to convey love and hope, making the world a better place. "
