Last Saturday, the Hubang Public Welfare Team visited the Xinhua Road Community Construction Center in Shanghai and actively participated in the "Wheelchair Community Sports Competition" initiated by Baifenyi, the barrier free cultural promotion team of the weekend art camp. This fun and meaningful event allowed everyone to experience the real scene of wheelchair travel through laughter and challenges, arousing social attention and thinking on the construction of barrier free facilities.

Understanding Accessibility through Collaboration: The theme of this activity is "The Challenge of a Glass of Water", which vividly depicts the daily difficulties of wheelchair users through fun competitions of two person collaboration. The participants are divided into "stable as Mount Tai" and "navigation force".
The water carrier sits in a wheelchair and needs to accurately control the direction while maintaining a stable water level in the cup. The promoter is responsible for route navigation and force support, and the two work together to overcome the three levels.
Slope Double Strike: The weightlessness caused by going up and down slopes poses a high challenge to balance ability.
Drifting around the column: S-shaped positioning determines the survival of water flow, and smooth positioning has a higher success rate.
Ultimate sprint: safely deliver precious water to the final measuring cup.
16 experiences and 16 awakening activities attracted 16 participants to experience. When healthy individuals first observe the world from the perspective of wheelchair users, previously overlooked steps, ramps, and narrow doors instantly become "invisible barriers". At the post match sharing session, a participant sighed, "It turns out that the 30 meters we take for granted may be a journey that others need to give their all

The original intention of Hubang's public welfare is to make accessibility more than just slogans. We believe that true tolerance begins with empathy. Every subtle slope optimization can change life. Corporate social responsibility should be implemented in real-life scenarios. Although this wheelchair community sports competition has come to an end, the pace of mutual public welfare will never stop. We look forward to working with more partners in the future, continuing to delve into the community, carrying out various forms of public welfare activities, and using actions to convey love and care, contributing to the construction of an accessible and inclusive society. Let us look forward to a warmer and more friendly future together, where everyone can travel freely and pursue their dreams without obstacles. "
